Guilds are Heartopia’s endgame social layer. They turn solo daily grinding into shared weekly goals, give you a persistent group to fish, trade, and compete with, and unlock rewards you simply can’t get alone — the Guild Shop, a shared garden, and a monthly festival event. Whether you join one or build your own, the guild system adds a layer of community progression that keeps the game fresh long after you’ve maxed your D.G. level.

This guide covers every rank, quest type, reward, and strategy — plus the practical side of finding (or founding) the right guild.

Creating vs. Joining a Guild

BenefitsImmediate access to all guild features at the guild’s current rank

Joining is the right call for 90% of players. You get instant access to an established guild’s rank benefits, a ready-made social circle, and weekly quests you can contribute to without the overhead of running things.

Creating a guild only makes sense if you have a group of 10+ friends already lined up, or you’re committed to recruiting. A guild with 3 members is stuck at Rank 1 with no benefits — the same features you’d get by joining a Rank 10 guild instantly for free.

Solo player tip: If you’re a solo player who just wants guild benefits, join a large public guild. There are dozens of “casual” guilds that welcome anyone and maintain high activity purely from member count. Check the Guild Board and filter by “Open Enrollment.”

Guild Ranks & Progression

Guilds progress through 10 ranks. Each rank unlocks new features and multiplies existing rewards.

95,000 Total Quest PointsGuild Festival (monthly event)+30%+40%
1010,000 Total Quest PointsLegendary Guild Frame + Exclusive Cosmetics+40%+50%

Progression strategy: The fastest path to Rank 10 is a full 50-member guild completing all weekly quests. At maximum activity, you can gain approximately 500-700 Quest Points per week, reaching Rank 10 in roughly 14-20 weeks. Realistically, most active guilds hit Rank 10 in 4-6 months.

For the core multiplayer mechanics behind guild activities, see the Advanced Multiplayer Guide.

Weekly Guild Quests

Guild quests refresh every Monday and are the primary way to earn Quest Points and Gold for the entire guild. All members contribute to a shared progress bar.

Quest Contribution Tiers

Individual contributions are tracked. At the end of each quest cycle, rewards are distributed by contribution tier:

Contribution TierPersonal GoldPersonal Items
Low (0-10% of goal)20% of guild reward1 random material
Medium (10-25%)50% of guild reward2 random materials
High (25-50%)100% of guild reward3 materials + 1 rare
Top Contributor (#1)150% of guild reward5 materials + 1 Wishing Star

This means in a Rank 10 guild, the top contributor on a Fishing Tournament quest earns 1,200 Gold + 5 materials + 1 Wishing Star — every single week. Being active in a high-rank guild is one of the most reliable weekly income streams in the game, rivaling dedicated money-making routines.

Guild Shop

Unlocked at Rank 7, the Guild Shop sells exclusive items at a 20-30% discount compared to Ka Ching’s General Store. Inventory rotates weekly.

Best buy: The Stamina Potion ×5 bundle is the single best deal in the Guild Shop — a 33% discount on one of the most-used consumables. Stock up every week. For alchemy alternatives, see the Alchemy Station Guide.

Guild Garden

Unlocked at Rank 6, the Guild Garden is a shared 6×10 plot accessible to all members. It’s separate from your personal farm.

How It Works

  • Any member can plant seeds, water, and harvest.
  • Crops grow at +15% speed compared to personal plots (community bonus).
  • Harvested crops go into Guild Storage — anyone with permission can withdraw them.
  • Giant Crops (special oversized variants) have a 5% chance to spawn in the Guild Garden. They sell for 3× the normal price and can be displayed in the Guild House.

Garden Roles

Guild leaders can set garden permissions:

  • Planter: Can plant and water
  • Harvester: Can harvest and withdraw crops
  • Manager: Can change what’s planted and manage storage

Set at least 2-3 trusted members as Managers so the garden stays active even when the leader is offline.

Guild Festival (Rank 9)

The monthly Guild Festival is the crown jewel of the guild progression system. Once unlocked, it triggers on the first Saturday of every month.

Festival Activities

ActivityTypeReward
Guild FeastAll members cook and share food+50 stamina buff for 24 hours

Festival Buff

Completing all festival activities grants a “Guild Unity” buff: +20% XP gain and +15% Gold from all sources for 24 hours. This stacks with the Guild Passives from Multiplayer parties, which makes festival Saturdays the single most productive day of the month. Plan your grinding around it.

Guild Management Tips

For Guild Leaders

  1. Set open enrollment for the first 3 ranks — you need members to hit the 25 and 40 thresholds. Switch to “Request to Join” at Rank 6+ to filter for active players.
  2. Rotate quest focus weekly. If you just completed Fishing Tournament, announce “Mining Expedition this week” in Guild Chat so members equip pickaxes.
  3. Assign 2-3 Vice Leaders. You can’t be online 24/7. Vice Leaders can start quests, manage the garden, and approve new members.
  4. Kick inactive members after 14 days offline. An inactive member in a 50-person guild is a slot that could go to someone who contributes.

For Guild Members

  1. Contribute to every weekly quest, even just the minimum. Low-tier rewards are still free Gold and materials.
  2. Use Guild Fast Travel (Rank 4) to save bus fare between map zones — it adds up to hundreds of Gold saved per week.
  3. Check the Guild Shop every Monday. The best items (Wishing Stars, Stamina Potions) sell out fast.
  4. Plant long-growth crops in the Guild Garden (Pumpkins, Mahogany trees) — the +15% growth speed makes them much more viable.

Even if you mostly play solo, joining a public casual guild costs nothing and gives you free weekly Gold and discounted shop items. There is zero downside — the guild system is pure upside for any player who logs in at least once a week.

A strong guild turns Heartopia from a solo farming game into a shared world. Whether you join a casual 50-member public guild or build your own from scratch, the weekly quests, discounted shop, shared garden, and monthly festival are some of the best reasons to keep logging in.
